Hello my beauties! I admit it. I binge. I am overweight. I have food issues, and I have body issues. But here's my proposition to you... I am going to lose weight. But not in the obscenely unhealthy way I did before, I don't want to revert back to anorexia, but to be healthy To be fit and happy. and comfortable in my ownskin.
Here's my plan:
Breakfast: 200 calories
Snack: 100 cals
Lunch: 300cals
Snack: 300 cals
Dinner: 500 cals
Snack: 100 cals... yup, that's 1500 calories, and easing back to excercise. NO MORE BINGING !
Oh to be thin, healthy and happy again.. who's in?

that is very similar to what I am doing what right now, and while I do not suffer from BED I have bulimia and am a semi-recovered anorexic. Im a pretty small girl so I eat around 1200 calories a day and work out to get the last few pounds off before going on a cruise.

It's brilliant that we're taking this first step towards losing this overlooked disorder. I'm so excited but I just wish that society would remove the stigma of bingeing. To someone looking on from the outside, they think we're lazy, disgusting and greedy, but what they don't know is the hurt, the frustration and dissapointment we feel and the cocktail of emotions when we binge.
Feel free to post on my wall about your progress- heck do it every day if you want! Good luck hunn, and remember, I'm doing this with you x

I am so in on this. It's weird, right now, I've been eating a lot of sugary foods. You know how protien is suppose to be filling? Well I try to this to eat healthier and not over eat, etc. But when I do eat protien like a chicken salad, I end up purging it. Sugary foods right now, seem to be acting like what protien should. If that makes sense. If I eat only sugary foods, I don't eat that much and get full really easily. But when I eat healthy foods, it's like my brain goes into a form of autopilot tunnel where I can't stop eating, even when I'm not hungry or ate alot already. Sometimes I purge, sometimes I don't.

Anyways, I am in.

If I only allowed myself 1500 for a day I wouldn't eat anything all day then have a 1500 calorie binge. Eating small frequent meals are nearly impossible for me.

I've been doing this for a while now and it's actually working for me :D Obvo I still binge sometimes it's not so much.
It;s pretty hard though since when I dont binge I mostly restrict so eating regularly without binging is diffinitely a challenge.

I would switch the calories of the breakfast for the dinner ones. You need more energy in the first meal of the day!

Thats kinda how i started recovering 6 months ago. Eating entire daily calories at once, as a daily binge. Then slowely splitted it up into 2 meals, 3 meals, and now i am eating about 6 meals per day.

Huh, that's an interesting way to do it nathrakh. It makes sense but never heard anyone do this before.
