I'm such a procrastinator. I NEED TO GET RID OF THIS DISORDER FOR ONCE AND FOR ALL if I want to have a LIFE. I'm so depressed. This is the most I've ever weighed in my whole life. and to think a few months ago I was almost sent into hospital for anorexia. what happened to me. I was so perfect and now I'm disgusting. I need to get back to at least 47kg. right now I'm around 60. do you know how SHIT that feels? well obviously some of you must, otherwise why would you be here? anyway. I'm fasting intermittently this time, but restricting heaps too. so on the days I don't fast I'll only have 200-400cals of fruit and veg ONLY. and I WILL RUN FOR AN HOUR. no excuses. I need to lose weight. I need to lose weight for school, for my birthday, for the person I like, for MYSELF. this has to fucking STOP.

No no no... if you fast and then deny yourself calories on your up days, your metabolism will plateau and you will NOT LOSE WEIGHT! For the intermittent fasting diet to work, you have to have OVER 1,200 calories on your up days... trust me, otherwise you will not lose weight!!

I know, you're absolutely right. I didn't even fast today...lol fail. my life's just been an emotional roller coaster lately. but everything will be okay. I feel less pressure now to lose weight super fast because the girl I like told me today that she only wanted to be friends and that's okay because I can do things at my own pace rather than try to lose weight really really fast to look good for her you know? and hopefully in a couple of months she'll change her mind ;)

If you have a problem with binging then an attempt at fasting will usually result in binging more because you feel deprived from restricting yourself. I learned that through experience. I went binge free for one week (still eating a minimum of 1000 calories daily) and managed to lose 3 pounds. It's slower weight loss than fasting but it will be better in the long run compared to constantly alternating between binging and fasting periods. I did binge today and while it felt terrible afterwards I'm learning not to let that make me feel so bad about myself that I continue to binge for days to come in order to cope with the feelings of shame.
