I'm pretty much sure that I'm becoming an alcoholic... :eek: That is really weird, because most of my life I was the sober one between my relatives and people I know. Gosh. :(

The thing is, I do not binge on alcohol (well, at least not often), but I do drink every-single-day and at specific "psychal" moments (when I get reaaalllyyy irritated (mostly by my parents or/and sister), angry, paranoid, guilt and psychotic at the time). Also, I drink alone, without a company or occasion. I sometimes tend to mix drinks (a sip of that, a sip of the other one, etc.) or mix those "daily-sips" with annyyyy kind of medication.

I love the feeling of relax and stress-decrease after the alcohol hits and this is why I'm a bit scared. I LOVE alcohol for the first time in my life... :(:(

I know the feeling too well :( A few years ago, I found myself smuggling alcohol into my room. On weeks that I couldn't afford it, I would sneak something out of my parent's collection. Every night I would have to have several drinks to be able to sleep eventually.

If you can, try setting limits to how many days a week you drink? Like perhaps you could start by allowing yourself only 6 days of the week that you can drink on, and one day has to be alcohol free. To be considered not alcoholic, you have to get that number to under two nights a week I think, and no more then about 3 drinks each time.

Can you work on the irritation, anger, paranoia, guilt and psychosis? Those will all be stressing you out when they happen, and if you can relax by dealing with the problems, you won't feel as much of a need for alcohol.

I'm no longer alcoholic, and had gotten to that before even planning my pregnancy (so unlike the forced quitting from smokes, it was a choice I made for me and not the health of the baby). You can PM me anytime if you want.

Lol :) That's one way of doing it - a couple drinks and there goes the entire day's cal allowance.
