...this "about the site" part was AT THE TOP.
Also, i think the general topics should be at the top and the more serious E.D parts should be closer to the middle/bottom so they arent the fist thing that a new member is drawn into, it makes sense if we don't want more people becoming ill.
Anyone have any similar thoughts/suggestions?

honestly I think its fine the way it is :)

im not venturing much into the ed parts of the forum these days, but i still think that this being mostly an eating disorder community itd makes sense to have them at the top. also i really really dont think that if someone has gone through the trouble of researching and finding this forum putting anorexia/bulimia/ednos a few lines further down is going to have much of an impact on their mental health

however, i really dont care about it enough to start an argument over it....whatever order the parts are in is fine with me.

I change things over time seeing what works best, and i use to have about the site on the top, but it wasn't helping as people wanted to get directly into what they wanted to read/write rather than about the site! the site is here to help people so its only best to have what people are most interested on the top.

The mods and some other watchers here are looking out for stats in the sig line and in posts.
I tend to watch the intro threads.
