Tuna's low cal, full of protein and pretty good for you.

But... I don't really like it plain, and I avoid mayo (even the low fat kinds).

How do you guys prepare/eat it?

I totally hear you. I like it...
1. flaked into a salad with some balsamic vinegar
2. mixed into kimchi
3. stir fried with a little yellow curry paste and veggies!

No ideas, sorry. I absolutely love it plain out of the can.

I made an amazing discovery today. While we all agree mayo is the devil, I discovered that all it takes for half a can of tuna is like 3/4 of a teaspoon... which for lite mayo is about ten calories. I ate half a can like that piled onto three saltine crackers for a pretty filling meal with 23% of protein for 96 calories.

If I'm rushed I'll eat it plain, with pepper, or with mustard.

I like it best on a salad, though.

Hellman's have an Extra Light mayonnaise. I think it's something like 74cal/100g, 11 cals in a tablespoon.

Otherwise, you could use fat free sour cream or plain yoghurt.

My mum's on a fat free diet, and she makes 0 fat "mayo" by mixing fat free plain yoghurt with a bit of mustard and black pepper. I haven't tasted it, but she says it's pretty close to actual mayo.

I also usually add some sweetcorn and/or beans (depending on how adventurous I'm feeling)

I like to add mustard and/or sugar free pickle/juice then just eat it out of the can.
Sometimes I'll just eat it plain if I must, but all of these suggestions sound so delicious! I've got to try some~

I eat it mixed with a little bit of vinegar. I <3 vinegar xD. Sometimes I make the tuna-vinegar stuff into a sandwich by putting the it onto one piece of wholemeal low cal bread and folding it over, maybe with some lettuce on it too :). Seriously the vinegar bit sounds weird but it is SO NICE. Try it :p

Have it with lemon juice. It is good in the morning with lemon juice because lemon juice boosts your metabolism.

with mustard (can sometimes be too salty)
with lemon juice and capers (Mmm capers!)
with fat free greek yogurt (creamy!)
With all of the above (OMG SO AWESOME!)

I really need to get some more tuna....
I've never tried it with curry powder but that sounds awesome.

Tuna is one of my latest addictions.

I used to eat it plain, but then I started mixing in hot mustard (I can't stand regular mustard) and I love it. I also add a lot of seasoned pepper and some seasoned salt (and sometimes garlic salt).

I eat it on one slice of whole wheat bread and I find it really filling.

I just can't eat it without mayo! I really like having cut up pickles with it too but I try to avoid that because the mayo is enough.

Helllooo today's lunch! Sounds yummy.

Sometimes I like it with mustard, but too much makes it really bitter. I'll have to try it with greek yogurt sometime, too.

I use half a can of tuna drained and add some ginger, garlic, coriander, soy sauce, mix it all together and make into 2 burgers, place in the freezer for 10 mins to harden it all up and then using a 1 cal spray oil cook it in a frying pan for 2 mins on both sides and serve with either a salad or low calorie bread toasted.

I like my tuna with mustard like said plenty of times lol, with some pepper and hot sauce too.
Or walden farms salad dressings, any kind.

yeah it's nice, yes I shape them into 2 small burgers, you could put them in a roll with lettuce or I just them on the plate with toast or salad
