Desperately Hungry Housewives (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.)
is a BBC documentary covering the lives of four older women who are recovering from eating disorders.

I thought some of you would find this intriguing, since I know quite a few of you are married or have children.
It's in six parts, and the link will take you to the first one.

This was a great documentary, I enjoyed it. So few of them address older women with EDs - I think childbirth must be a trigger (it was for me).

Very good documentary. I liked how they expressed that eating disorders are an emotional struggle, not a want to look like some celebrity.

Really glad you guys enjoyed it. :)

Did anyone else get the impression that Jane, the eldest woman who tried hyponotherapy, was telling a bit of a fib toward the end of the documentary? It was almost as if she was trying to convince herself she wasn't going to purge. I felt pretty bad for her.
