If I see even one more bowl of freaking soup.

During the winter, like most people, I like to eat warm, filling things to deal with the cold. I usually turn to soup because I can't think of anything else that's warm and filling, but still low in calories.

As you can imagine, that gets boring very quickly.

I've tried eating different varieties, but still, nothing. I've had soup for dinner almost every day for the past 2-3 weeks and I'm sick of it.

Does anyone know of something else I could eat with the same effect? I'd like it to be liquid-y but solids are OK too. Say, below 200 calories? I don't want broth or tea. Thanks a bunch :-)

How about a hot oatmeal with nuts and/or eggs?

I eat that too, but only for breakfast :)

There are lots of premade meals that you just pop into the microwave and are pretty low-cal. I usually eat the brand Compleats. A potato/chicken meal is like 200 cals, and their meals are usually 180-300ish.

You can also do other things with broth. I made pirogies the other day with broccoli and added a little bit of broth to the bowl. It wasn't really "soup" but it added that warm, comforting flavor I think you're looking for.

Have you tried different kinds of soup like wonton, miso, egg drop?

I love roast vegetables in winter.
