I hope I'm not the only one who feels like this.

Do you guys feel like we are instantly connected by our SI? I was just kinda thinking about it and I feel like you are my family because of our common problems. I dunno if anyone else feels like this but I just thought I'd tell you all.

I think you can feel so alone when you SI, it is still a taboo subject. I personally couldn't tell any of my friends, so it is great to know there are other people in the world who DO understand why I do it, what is going on in my head etc.

I definitely feel like this. You guys are my only family, WE is my biggest secret. I think some of the reason I'm still around is because of all the supportive voices here. I know if I ever really need something, you all will be here.

Ditto... people in RL make me feel like a shitty person for SI. Here I feel understood.

I feel this way :). We all have the same secret, we do not judge each other because of the secret, etc...

It happens irl too, such as when I see someone's scars (obvious ones) and you feel connected. I find it ironic how easily si-ers can identify scars and see scars no one else sees.

It's amazing how connected we are because of this secret. It makes me feel less alone and less of a horrible person.

Yeah I definitely feel this way too! That's why I just joined this site. None of my friends understand SI. They really try to but can never come close. It sucks because we really need to talk about this stuff sometimes and it's hard when your real life friends dont get it.
