I hate the stupid fighting that goes on inside my head as to whether I should si or not. I love si, the only reason I do not do it is for others to not see... but I feel as if I need it, you know?

It feels like I'm fighting in a war against my best friend.

Does anyone else feel like they are split into two when trying to figure out how to cope?

I definitely understand this. My best friend and I have been fighting wars like this for a long time.. but they only end in failure for both people. My friend told me if I cut she would purge, and if she purged I could cut. But she was always like "purging isnt as bad as cutting" and I believe its the same. Purging is hurting your innards and cutting is hurting the outside, the surface of your skin.
