infected wisdom tooth

hello evrybody
anyone else had an infected wisdom tooth?its incredibly painful dentist put me in antibiotics but they aint wrkin too well doh xxx

Not exactly the same but I have had 2 infected root canels in the last fortnight,so I know the pain you are feeling and it starts to wear you down.The antibiotics take awhile to kick in.I found using a good mouthwash 2-3 times a day,along with normal brushing,got rid of it.I was also told that warm saltwater is v good for it.
If the antibiotics don't work,make sure you go back and get some more.Hope you feel better soon
