What do i do if i feel like i'm about to binge but cant get time to myself to purge?
I dont have the willpower to starve myself most of the time, and i live with my best friend who i think knows i have an eating disorder because she's constantly hinting to me about eating. She is also a fitness freak, we've bought an aerobic fitness dvd and do workouts together but she is totally against eating disorders.
I try to stick to healthier foods most of the time as i know i might not get a chance to go to the bathroom without anyone finding out.
Just wanted to know if anyone knows of any thing that fills you up that has hardly any calories or anything that will keep food off my mind?
Thanks :)

There are certain brands of fruit flavoured yogurts(with sweeteners) with about 40 kcals per 100 ml.
Also raw carrots only have like 20 kcals per 100 gram
Cucumber only has like 10 kcals per 100 gram aswell
I found these foods fill me up pretty well without containing a lot of calories.

Yeah, carrots are good, because they have texture and sweetness. If I'm craving chocolate I sometimes find that a low-cal hot chocolate drink removes the craving. Eating a whole lettuce takes a while, or corn on the cob.
If I have to eat a meal in front of people and want it to be low-calorie, I will have a plate of peas or spinach with a couple of Quorn sausages (I don't know if you get these in other countries, they are like a low fat vegetarian sausage). Or big mushrooms, grilled, with salad on the side.

Completely avoiding a binge is usually the best thing to do for me.
I fail constantly, but when I actually try, I find going on the computer and talking to friends, reading, going for a walk or watching TV helps.
The kitchen may seem like it's calling to you, but try to ignore it. Even try to stay close to your friend when the feeling comes, because you are less likely to binge infront of other people.

i find that its easiest NOT to B/P when im busy.. going to work, going to the gym.. going out with friends... because I cant purge when im with other people, so i know not to binge or i have to digest it all. try to keep busy and just eat small things... i know its so much easier said than done though, we all know that.
Omg, I know quorn, I love it, I used to buy it all the time at home :-) but with binging and purging... I cannot control it, I am workin on it..but, it just takes over...:-( advice?? fat free jello, lots of water and, basically, enjoy emptiness, as much as it give u headaches...I do luv cucumbers, eat a whole one, and u still wont feel bad...also coffee or hot tea with 2% milk, and..bad, I know...but I smoke...

what works for me:
1. freeze fruit!! blueberries especially! they taste soooo good frozen and take longer to eat, and blueberries are so low cal and full of antioxidents!. . also, pineapple (very sweet!), strawberries (low cal) etc are good to eat from frozen!
2. force yourself to go out, its hard (and sometimes I fail) but if i go a friends or go somewhere with a friend, the urge may still be there, but the oppourtunities not!
3. Cereal, my stable diet food! I cant have a day without cereal! bran flakes are 150 calories a bowl (use skimmed milk!) so even if you pig out and have 2 big bowls, your still talkin under 400 calories, and trust me, you will be full!!
hope that helps :) xx

A full bowl for 150 calories? really?
I am always eating tiny 30g servings of oati flakes if I have to have that type of cereal but 90% the only thing to fill me is weetabix.
Can you really have that many bran flakes?
Or are you like me and use smaller and more adequately sized bowls then other people who constantly eat crateloads?

wel i dont use massive bowls and i dont usually fill the bowls to the brim, but yeah id say they are like 'normal bowls' ??. . .obviously bran flakes are simple, low fat etc foods. . . sugarpuffs, cocopops (sugary cereals) and obviously oat based cereals such as oat granola (high energy, therefore higher calorie!). . .arn't as low at bran flakes!
my weight currently is 108lbs and i always have 2 bowls of bran flakes a day (which i never purge!).. . and then i follow them with a fat free yoghurt (60cal) and a fat free cereal bar (80 cal!) and then at lunch i pick at some fruit this lasts me all morning and lunch right through till dinner :) xx

CANTELOUPE!
Most def the best thing to binge on ever!! It has like no calories (you burn them all digesting the food itself :-P) and it's mostly water so you fill up really quickly. Its got vitamins and whatnot, its good for you, you cant go wrong! Plus, if it's ripened just so.... its the most best tasting thing in the world, without the regret! Canteloupe is my favorite food, i think i eat about 1 1/2 to 2 canteloupes a week all by myself. Thats what I go for at night, when I want to eat but know I shouldn't ;-))))
