Prozac and heart palpitations, what do you reckon?

Just been having heart palpitations, maybe one every half an hour? I havent REALLY been purging over the past week and Ive been eating better than usual ...so Im a bit confused. Thought it might be related to prozac, which I have been put on just recently.

Im not so concerned, more interested if anyone else has had this as a side effect?

I don't think it's relating to the prozac. I took prozac before and didn't get heart palpitations from it. I do know that when I was in treatment I actually had more frequent heart palpitations then I did outside of treatment. Maybe it's just the way the body reacts to things. I'm not really sure though. I hope this was at least slightly helpful.

ah thanks, it is... im still having them, just less often? so im not stressing.

I'm glad they're less often. They are rather annoying and slightly scary...
