I dont have BED, but at night, after ive already met my 700 cal limit ill go directly to bed feeling fine (around 10:30 or soo...) But then ill wake up 1 or 2 hours later feeling like i have to go downstairs and eat an entire box of cereal in order to go back to sleep..completely throwing off my diet plan.

Anyways what im wondering is how you guys talk yourself out of a binge? Or what you do to surpress it besides eating, anything but eating please...:)

I know you say not to suggest eating, but if you really want to fix this problem, you need to leave some calories for before you go to sleep. A light snack will stop you from waking up with such a voracious appetite. As long as you don't eat over your limit at night, you aren't going to gain weight from eating late at night.

I tell myself the food will be there in the morning, and I don't need it now. If I eat it now it won't be there in the morning, or even if I don't have it all, I will be heavier in the morning. I try to follow my no eating after 7 rule nowadays, but I definatly miss my all night binges.

To help with binging, eating properly throughout the day and getting all the nutrition you need is essential. It helps.

Looking in the mirror keeps me from binging. I do not binge very often, and when I do, it is on snacky foods like Chex Mix and nuts.

According to the Mayo Clinic, the traditional advice of drinking 64 oz. of water a day may be an overestimation. But drinking a lot of water can help you feel full, which reduces the amount of food you eat and leads to weight loss.

I agree, also, you might want to try some physical activity, it can be light, as long as it gets you tired so you won't wake up, works for me every time ;) good luck!

I'd try to keep yourself at a 600 cal limit during the day and save 100 for right before you go to bed if I were you.

I talk myself out of a binge by looking in the mirror or wandering WE usually.
