I like supernatural shows... but not ZOMG WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE *blood & guts* types. Funny-ish and what not ones. No not romantic comedies! Just ones with some humor.

Vampires:
True Blood
The Vampire Diaries
The Gates

Creatures:
Supernatural
Fringe

Aliens:
Roswell (1999!)

Infact, I can't even remember many of the shows I've watched fitting the humor/drama category with vamps/creatures. But Meh. Are there more shows like this? I swear I've watched all the recent ones. I mean, sure Supernatural and Vamp Diaries are still airing, but I sit and watch these shows alllllll daaaaay. A season is like a day or 2 depending on what else I want to do that day. I'm beginning to think there's nothing left for me to watch and if that happens I'll explode.

Right now I'm loving the vampire diaries because it maintains a certain level of suspense/danger whilst still having a main sarcastic douche character that brightens up my day by saying things I'd say. Or, at least things I'd think. I'm kind enough to know when not to be sarcastic lol.

There's only like a bajillion anime series that have premises similar to the ones of the shows you mention. If you can get past the fact that they're toons you might end up really enjoying them.

I recommend Death Note to start with. It has Shinigamis in it. A shinigami is Shinto's version of a grim reaper inspired by Christianity so it has sort of a "goth" feel to it. If you like that then let me know and I think I can recommend some more for you.

I LOVE Vampire Dairies! haha The only ones i can think of are kinda old which are Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel.
