I just spend about 3 hours slicing into my thigh with blades and now I get a call from my boyfriend telling me he has planned a suprise visit to come see me at the weekend. Is there anyway I can heal these marks quicker? I don't want to disappoint him that I'm cutting again :( Please help me! xxx

I had this problem, people wanted to go swimming :(
I'm not sure there's really any way to make things heal faster, but sometimes using antiseptic makes them seem less red, more like old scars, and you could always use concealer or something to hide them more. If you can't hide them tho, maybe just try to cover them up?

oh, hun, i don't really know what to say... yeah, it's a shitty situation... but for me my boyfriend was really helpful, not disappointed, just worried. -Can you talk to him?
And there's no way to heal wounds completely within four or five days. Wound-healing creams are good, esp when there's cinc in them, but i wouln't suggest using them until the wound has become encrusted, cause everything with oil in it will keep the wound fluid from seaking out. Till then wound-healing-gels or sprays are better, 'cause they are water-based. and for now, to you have first-aid kits? compresses help alot. And stress the wounds as little as possible. But they probably won't heal or even fade until he comes.
Anyways, i hope you are able to look forward seeing him and maybe you can talk with him about it instead of trying to hide them from him.

Hi thanks so much for your support you guys :)
Luckily some of them aren't too deep but the worse ones should be okay if I can make them look a bit older otherwise I might have to do some pretty quick leaping into bed. If he does notice then I guess I will have to talk to him but I'm honestly stopping he has been so proud of me
