So I live in America, but I'm really diggin' Peep Show. Also The Mighty Boosh can be pretty funny.
I know some people over here that have seen the Mighty Boosh but I've never met anyone that's heard of Peep Show.
Are these shows big over in the UK?
Also what are some other good shows you guys like over there? Any recommendations?
I've tried to watch some of the British Office and couldn't do it. Lol I can't understand half of what they
say, some of their accents are to mumbly or something.

Yeah, peep show is amazing.
Just got done watching the first episode of the 5th season. Really good so far.
I think I watched seasons 1-5 in like a week.
But I'll definitely check out those two shows.
I think I might of heard of them before.
Are they on channel 4... they seem to have a bunch of good shows.

Peep show is the best show ever! I love The Office, Extras, IT Crowd, Father Ted to name just a few. Skins is also worth a watch too...

Father Ted is a must! The Catherine Tate Show and Blackadder is funny too, if you can find them!
Oh! And you should watch Ultimate Force if you can catch that anywhere! :D

Skins isn't a comedy but seasons 1-2 are pretty good. Most of the good programmes are channel 4.
If you've not seen it, watch red dwarf too. Its over 10 years old but it's still brilliant. It was way ahead of its time when it first came out.
Try Tim Minchin too if you like comedy, he's not that big over here but he should be cos the guy is amazing

I love Peep Show! David Mitchell is absolutely brilliant.
I also watch Q.I., Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Mock The Week, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, You Have Been Watching, and Would I lie To You? (Those are panel shows and you can find them on YouTube, too.)
As well as Grandma's House, IT Crowd, That Mitchell and Webb Look, Bruiser, A Bit of Fry and Laurie, Come Dine With Me, Law And Order: UK, Red Dwarf, Catherine Tate Show, Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, and Black Adder.
Oh and I totally forgot!
You should also check out Black Books and Spaced.

+1 for anything with David Mitchell.
Also, an oldie but goodie: Ab Fab (Absolutely Fabulous). One of my all time faves.

Cool, I'll check those out too. Someone else not from this forum also told me about a show called Misfits... any good? Sounds like Heroes a bit.
I think I've listened some of the Rick Gervais podcast before. And, yes, Curb Your Enthusiasm is fucking awesome, I've already seen all the episodes :). They are good enough to re-watch though.

Misfits is really good! Not a pure comedy but very funny in parts. Check out the boosh live shows if you can, better than a lot of the show in my opinion. Also shameless has a few good early seasons, though the accents might defeat you lol. Oh and Green Wing! Nighty night...league of gentlemen...teachers...the soaps can be unintentionally funny as well

Red Dwarf is also a good one too.

I love Russell Howard's Good News. He is hilarious. He's on Mock the Week too (although not this series) which somebody has already suggested.
I second the recommendation for An Idiot Abroad- Karl Pilkington is hilarious!
I really like Being Human too. It's a supernatural drama thing but I think it's pretty funny too. At least the first series is. The second not so much but I still enjoyed it.
Ooh I nearly forgot QI! QI is amazing!
For really old school stuff, you can't go wrong with a bit of Fawlty Towers. Ooh and if you like those sort of crime-solving programmes (not like CSI, more quaint than that- Like adult Scooby Doos) then try Jonathan Creek.

I'm a 'never mind the buzzcocks' fan. I enjoyed the 'misfits' first series and look forward to the second which is airing soon. 'Rude tube' had me laughing last night, particularly the guy who ate the chilli. But that's an internet clips show so it doesn't count!

I'm watching Prime Suspect (hands down the best police procedural ever made, IMHO) right now. I also adore Peepshow. And Extras, before he gets famous.
I kind of like Skins, but it's a little too soap opera-esque. It feels a bit juvenile at times.
I love peep show.
Try checking out inbetweeners and IT crowd
I really, really want to watch Inbetweeners, but it's totally inaccessible in the US! The British websites that stream it for UK viewers won't let you watch if your IP address is foreign. And they haven't produced DVD's for the US format, so you can't buy it anywhere. I keep hoping netflix will make it available to watch instantly (on your PC) but it hasn't happened yet.
Does anyone have any ideas about how to get it?

One of my fav serials overtime is "Bad girls", but it's kinda old one, I bet they don't air it over there anymore :D But I recommend.
