Ten reasons why I think exercising is great.

1. Burns calories. Quicker weight loss!
2. I love it, it's fun! (Although I can understand people hating it)
3. Gives me time away from home, people.. Away from life. Time alone.
4. Increases fitness.
5. Increases strength and improves muscle mass.
6. Tones.
7. Reduces risk of stroke, respiratory and heart problems (I'm at risk of all three)
8. Likely to live longer if it's done regularly.
9. Has been proven to improve immune system.
10. Improves metabolism.

I read somewhere that weight loss is 20% food, and 80% exercise.
Not bad :)

What's everyone's favourite exercise?

Mines is cycling and walking. I'd run, but carrying all my fat, I can barely run the length of myself :L

you need to try the stepper machine. It's the most efficient cardio ever, much better then running. Trying sprint intervals for 1 min, then walk step for 2. Sweat bullets.

Well I'm in boxing at the moment lol. When I'm not, sense it's hot where I live i just run in place at my house until I hofully get a tredmil. I also do squats and sit ups.

Running early in the morning (like 6:15 AM or so before I have to go to work at 8:00 AM) has become a habit of mine over the summer, and it's great! I love it because it's so nice and peaceful running through the neighborhood, you get to see a very pretty view (the quiet houses, the sky slowly lighting up, the sun peaking through the clouds), and sometimes you even get to experience the nice smell of breakfast cooking in the houses you run by! But the best part about running for me is listening to music while I run. It just really helps to make it fun for me, instead of some boring, rigorous workout I feel forced to do, so I look forward to running more.

I would highly recommend doing early morning runs! It's a pain to wake up that early, but just sleep earlier so you can get up in time. It's completely worth it because it jumpstarts your metabolism at the very beginning of the day, and you just feel really good and energized for the rest of the day. (:
