View Full Version : Do your thighs touch?

Mine do, and I HATE it. I can't make the fat on my upper thighs go away no matter what I do! The rest of my leg is pretty slim, but then my upper thigh is huge! What do your thighs look like?
I think my thighs and my stomach are probably the only real places I need much improvement. My thighs bulge out x abajillion when i sit down and it really just makes me want to vomit. :) And I'm scared to work out and make them bigger with muscle. I don't know what to do! ~

My thighs are so big that I have to wear Burmuda shorts to keep them from chaffing. :-p

My thighs touch at the top. And it makes me want to vom when I see them. I think I posted a thread in the exercises bit for my inner thighs and got some good workouts off people. Have a look and try some out. Let me know how you get on too =]
Good luck x

my thighs are HUGE.
i will be happy when they no longer touch and only then
My thighs don't touch but they are far to close for my liking. It's like my butt flab migrates and ew it's nasty. :c

Mine don't, but I hate theyway the fat spreads when i sit down. I've seen severely AN patients who have it too, though, so i guess it's something to just accept

My thighs are the same :( They touch & the fat spreads when I sit down. Stretch marks are also a downer. :/ It's one of my biggest insecurities but I'm not sure how to trim them down without building up bulky muscle either.
I'd feel much better if they didn't touch, but so would the majority of people.

They just recently started touching again due to being pregnant and gaining weight. It's the worst feeling ever to know how hard I worked for them to not touch... and feel them all day... swish swish swish. ugh.

I wouldn't call it it a touch. It's more of a peck. Like no matter how much weight I lose, the top of my thighs will kiss a little. Even though the rest of my legs are fine. I think that just happens to some people and the only way to correct it is through surgery, which is a little severe for such a tiny little thing.
If the rest of you is good, just wear bermuda shorts. >_>

i just realized mine don't touch anymore o.O wow. but i still hate the way the fat spreads when i sit down, i always sit very uncomfortably to make my legs look their slimmest, I hope I don't look too tense all the time ^^
Mine do now... when I was at my lowest weight my friends told me they hated how my thighs didn't touch. Where I live it's generally accepted that skinny thighs are a bad thing. -_-
My biggest inspiration really are perfect legs and thighs. Like standing with your feet together, but your legs not touching at all. That's my dream :)

Mine did touch before i lost weight, but they dont really anymore. Theyre still too close though. They just barely dont touch, and it drives me nuts. I feel like when i walk it looks like they touch.... and not knowing drives me nuts. I think ill video record myself walking to see, i just need to see what it looks like..... gah. I look like a freak sometimes, when i walk, ill randonly put my hand btwn my legs to reassure myself they arent touching.... i try not to in public tho haha

I just realised that in my favorite pair of jeans i can hardly feel them touch but as soon as i put on workout shorts its like a grinding... It really sucks because my family naturally has HUGE hips and thighs. and even though i am still the smallest in my family (not by much) i have the dreaded legs.

I used to be able to wear regular shorts with no chaffing. Now I have to wear Bermuda length. :( Had a hard time running today in my bicycle shorts...they kept riding up between my legs. Gotta wear better shorts next time.

Yes and I absolutely hate it. This is the first time in my life they've touched. I've noticed them getting a little farther apart though lately, and I hope it's motivation enough to keep me on the wagon this week with restricting.

I reached a point in my eating disorder/BDD that I don't even know if they touch or not. I look in the mirror and they don't seem to touch but they look really close and I don't know if what I see is real or not. My boyfriend says that they don't but I don't know if he is trying to please me so I don't truly believe him.

Before they FORCED me to recover, I used to put my phone or something else on my lap but it'd just slip right through my legs. Now I put my legs together and there's hardly a gap. It's disgusting. :'(

yeah mine touch, they always have and i hate it! WHY CAN THEY JUST HAVE A GAAPP!!!
anyways, some people were saying about working out, and if they would touch due to muscle, i doubt they would if somebody does like running, but if you intensively work out your inner thighs with machines and all that maybe?!.
i really don^t know but i would suppose.
haha good luck to all who's thighs do touch on not making them touch!
& to all others :D

Mine do until my BMI is well below 17. Maybe my legs are positioned unusually close together on my torso, or perhaps it's just that that's where I lose from last. The first time I realized I couldnt make my thighs touch anymore I almost had a panic attack, which is an unusual response. I'd been wanting it, and when it happened, I was really scared.
