I have a really big problem. The only time that I can sensibly work out is at night or in the late evenings, and my parents' room is below mine. Directly below it. And our floorboards creak like hell. They can hear me walk across the room. I seriously need a workout where you don't need to shift your weight much or walk around but still burns loads of calories. Thanks!

Hi, you should try a pilates based workout if you have a DVD player in your room. There's an amazing dvd workout called 'pulse yoga', I think it's on tv occasionally. It's 30 minute sessions that work out every part of your body moving into each posture using pulsing movements, so combining resistance training with cardio. It's great for slimming legs and stomach too!

Can you do stuff like stretching and resistance training on your bed without making noise? Squats, sit ups, push ups, etc on the bed will be more difficult on the bed due to the unstable surface but you will get a better workout in the long run.
