So I just recently started cutting again. About a month and a half ago. I have cuts varying from shallow to rather deep all across my stomach, hips, and thighs. And I came to the horrifying realization that I have a nude photoshoot in early September when I move back to college. The pay is exceptionally good, so I don't want to cancel the job, but I can't go there with a bunch of fresh scars either. And on top of that, I'm moving in with my boyfriend this semester. In exactly 3 weeks. He's going to FLIP when he sees the cuts/scars. Especially because I lost over 15 pounds this summer, in addition to taking up my old habit..

Advice on how to cover them up? Or faster healing process?

I say try out different creams like neosporin or whatever. I've heard cocoa butter helps as well. It's in a lot of lotions.

But, unfortunately, I dont have a lot of advice.

I have cocoa butter... That might work. Don't women use it afte they've had a baby to reduce stretch marks or something?

I think so. So I'm pretty sure that would help some. Oh, and I've also heard silicone gel? But I'd google that one.

Huh. that sounds kinda scary lol. it makes me think of smearing fake boobs on your cutting scars.

There is a cream called Mederma that is made for scars. It faded the ones on my arms really well.

Oooh yes, I used Mederma for kids when I first quit cutting. And it worked rather nicely. Thank you! I had completely forgotten about it.

You could try covering them with Dermablend?

I tried bio-oil on some of mine, didn't work well too well but they were ther deepest scars :/
They're from around 18 months ago and still red and raised, any suggestions?

for my deepest scars i used mederma. it took a couple months, but they eventually faded. you can still see them, but they aren't raised anymore and not so LOOK-i-slice-up-my-thighs-with-exacto-knifes-tah-dah anymore

Thanks, it'll be good if i make them look less like what they are and more "oh-these-yeah-i-fell-on-glass"
