Tonsillolith (Tonsil Stones)

Just curious but how many of you get these? Just swallowed one accidentally a second ago...I wanna barf.

I had those for months they would be the size of a pencil eraser. They are so nasty!!! The only fix was to get my tonsils removed.

i get them, they are so annoying and gross...im not sure if it has anything to do with purging or if other people get them to

I have them, and I haven't vomited in about 12 years. So I don't think they're from purging. :)
*Grossness warning* From what I've read, they're a collection of mucus and other crap in the back of your throat. I can always see when I have them because my tonsils are permanently swollen. (I plan to get them removed when I can.) I may also have post-nasal drip, which would be part of the cause of them.
The only way I've found that actually helps is getting rid of that mucus. I use Mucinex or a Neti Pot to clear it out, and it seems to help.
