Hey everyone, so i have had problems with my weight for years now and really struggle to lose weight am 5ft 3 and weight about 11 stone..!
few weeks back i started making myself spew after food, i now do this daily, its not a case of me binging on junk food then spewing i do it even when i eat healthily, for example i just had a omelte and felt i had to do it, i am also exercising daily doing 1hr callentetics, 20mins skipping rope and 15 min hula hooping..!
i feel as if i have lost some weight, but now the problem is my mum has decided to get married in sept an i am bridemaids, i really dont want to be the big fatty in the pics, all my family are skinny..!!
how long do you think before the weight starts to come off? please share your experiences with me thank xxx

unfortunately, weight never came off for me b/ping. i either remain the same or gain. :-( this might be different for you though.
the only thing that makes me lose weight if i don't eat any solid food at all and drink no-cal drinks. then i lose immediately. however, i have to be in the right mind set or i b/p. this is why i'm ednos vs anorexic or bulimic. :-(

Well, you're doing a lot of exercise, keep it up and you'll start seeing results!
I agree about the b/p... the only time I ever lose weight is when I fast inbetween binge sessions

Dont worry about it
If your healthy now then just get the hell out while you can you dont want an ED
if your so un happy with your body get surgy with the mony you save from binging my take awhile but it will be worth it i know i hate have it because i cant go a single min without thinking about how gross my body is

I'm exactly the same height as you and used to weigh 11stone also so i know exactly what it feels like! I never used to think i had bulimia, its only till this year when i've studied bulimia in pyschology that i realised i had it. It's never fully went away and i can control my binging and purging easier than other times.
You say your mams wedding is in a few months? For me it was my prom. The pressure to lose weight (at the time i decided to diet i was 9 stone 6, bulimia made me gain weight!) made me binge and purge more often. Sometimes i didn't purge afterwards, in hope that the sick feeling i got would make me never want to binge again-it didn't work.
I managed to lose weight after prom, the best advice i can give is set a date where you will begin a diet, not a low cal diet, a healthy one that should at minimum allow you 1200 cals a day. Join a gym and don't think of your faveourite foods as "forbidden foods". It's easier said than done i know, and my bulimias coming back but i think i've realised what can trigger purges so hopefully i'll be able to control it. After studying bulimia in pyschology i'm seriously thinking about getting help if it gets worse. I know i never had and hopefully never will have bulimia as bad as anyone on this forum, but i really need somebody to talk to who understands.
