Okay while some people run, jog, walk and some
rather do crunches, leg lifts, pushups, or some both.
What seems do give the best results for loosing weight?
Also, if actual exercises are really good, what is best for
arms, abs, and legs? I just need some help finding something
with very good results. Thankssss :)

well really losing weight is all about calories, and you will use more of them doing cardio.
however, if you mix it up wth some strength exercises you will gain muscle tone which will make you look thinner, even if you aren't actually any lighter..
you could also try powerplate classes. x

Cardio will definitely burn calories which will in the long run burn off the pounds. I was only doing cardio for about 3 months everyday and I hit a plateau so I started doing strength and took a break from cardio. I definitely did not realize how much the two go hand in hand, you may be losing weight with the cardio but you may not see it if you don't do strength to tone and lengthen muscles. Now I do cardio almost everyday with 2 days of strength training a week and I'm seeing faster results than I did when I was just doing cardio. Hope this helps. ;)

IMO you will lose more weight quicker doing cardio but eventually will hit a plateau because you will lose muscle in addition to fat. Then, once the muscle starts to decrease it gets harder and harder to lose weight since muscle burns more calories than fat. Pairing cardio and strength training is my preferred method of exercise. Eat a small bit of carbs before to get through the workout and eat a small bit of protein right after to help encourage muscle growth.

you don't need another reply but I agree, the best is cardio for losing weight, lots of cardio, but a little bit of crunches and push ups are good as well.
hope that helps

Same as everyone else seems to be saying... cardio to burn, but the muscle stuff is important. Toning also helps with stuff like skin tightening up-- I dunno about anyone else, but I started off at a really high weight and then lost a third of it, which left me with a ton of loose skin that looks really gross.

BOTH!!!! Muscle to increase metabolism while you aren't excercising, cardio to burn calories.

The more muscle you have, the more you can eat without gaining. (careful to maintain your muscle tho)

a good way to get both is to mix cardio in with your strength training. for example:
crunches then 60 jumping jacks
pushups -60jumpung jacks
squats-60 jumping jacks
etc.

do a minute of cardio after each componant of your strength training routine and then do the whole thing like 3 times. you will build muscle, ANd loose fat.
building muscle also boosts your metabolism and helps you to burn more calories throughout the day!

I agree with post workout for the same reason. But i like my 2 days off a week and do nothing on those days except maybe work, which is not physical at all. Not really a day off if youre going in and doing cardio is it? Just my thoughts.

heya, yeah I mostly do cardio, cuz it really does work! and I make sure I do little bits of strength training to.

I find a good thing is doing a pyramid:

So you do 10, push ups, 10 sit ups, 10 tuck jumps, 10 squats
Then do them all again doing 9 of each
then 8, then 7 etc till your at 0.

Then once you find 10 easy (I do now!) step it up to 12! then 14 etc!! :-) I also like to do some of the weight machines, for my back and shoulders! xx
