Counting

Ok. I dont know if anyone else does this but I count things. And it always has to end in an even number. My mom does the same thing. I will count the same thing over and over like floor tiles, pictures on the wall, anything.

I used to try to read words backwards and pronounce them out loud. I did it for about 2 years then stopped. Not sure why... Erus ton!

I used to do this thing where I was only allowed to take 5 steps per driveway all the way down the road to my house. If I was walking slowly I'd have to leap for the next driveway to avoid taking a 6th step. When I think back on it, people must have been looking out of their windows wondering who that crazy girl was... :o
Still do silly stuff like that now, but that always sticks in my mind.

I do that too. Everything has to be in an even number. Even things like my dishes. Atm it bugs the crap out of me that I have 3 spoons instead of the 4 I started with. For some reason tho it doesn't apply to pieces of fruit, I always have to buy 3 pieces, like 3 oranges and 3 apples, stuff like that.

I'm also very much a neatfreak/germaphobe, haha. I don't go to extremes like washing my hands all the time, but I do clean/sanitize my apartment every day. Everything has to be in a neat order with straight lines and stuff.

I count my steps when I'm walking.

Always in blocks of ten:
eighteen, nineteen, twenty, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, thirty, one, two...etc.

I've always done it. It doesn't bother me what the ending number is, but it frustrates me when someone makes me lose count.

Bit odd that I count, being as I can't abide maths.

I count all my steps and when I get to where i am going i HAVE to finish on an even number....it scares me to think i have ended on an odd number >.< People i am out with always wonder why i take another step if i need to and when i explain it they think its crazy!!

I also count things on my desk too...if I have an odd amount of things on my desk, it drives me crazy!!

Something else i do, kinder off the topic of counting but still, when i am out, walking or in a car, i trace lines in the things around me. If i don't do it or a line ends i panic!!

i count things in fours. i tap in fours sometimes to help me sleep.

I count alot of things, and at very weird times too. But when I start counting, I cant stop until I reach an even number ending in 4. I mostly count the white lines on the road and streetlamps and trees and ceiling tiles.
