Difficult to resist, the a-dora-bull fennec fox is (it reminds me of Yoda with those ears -- does it get AM reception, too? :P)

I totally LOVE fennec foxes! I've loved them ... yup, pretty much forever. When I was little and would play Zoo Tycoon, I always get excited when I could get fennec foxes :-) The ears are so cute!

The legality of owning a Fennec Fox varies by jurisdiction, as with many exotic pets. They're native to north Africa, just like the common house cat, and the reason why cats hate dogs. These little guys love to sniff and harass wild African cats and snatch their food. I've heard that they are high maintenence pets though because of their special diet needs.
