i just don't know ?

well basically there's this guy i've known for 8 years and as soon as we met we both fancied each other and we was on and off for a bit but then he got a new girlfriend for a few years but the whole time we liked each other. the other night we went out clubbing with lots of people and he knows i like him. we ended up kissing but then i found out from his mate he likes someone else so i asked him about it and he said that he likes me but he's been chatting to some pregnant girl on the phone and likes her as well but he hasn't met with her or anything. anyway its like 3 days later and we havent spoken since =| so i don't know what to do i really really like him.

is it worth waiting around ?

Hey fallen - this sounds familiar! Sorry to hear you're in this situation. Then again pleased that you're going through all these cool feelings of attraction to someone. Don't know if I'll be very helpful as obviously it's impossible to ultimately know how he feels but my guess is he probably likes you very much (given that you've been close for 8 years) as a friend, and clearly is attracted to you to a degree. But I'd be cautious with this talk of other people. That sounds worrying. I guess he could just be shy or confused - people aren't always in a situation to settle down and there can be all sorts of reasons effecting his behaviour. What does your gut instinct say?

thanks for your reply :) it made me understand the situation better. erm my gut instinct tells me that he does like me but he doesn't know if he wants anything so i guess i will just stay single for a while and just wait and see if anything does happen
