im going to try to "recover". i do not want to carry my ed into my adult life, and i feel like things are getting to the point where im not going to be able to recover if i dont take action now. ive looked into a ton of recovery research and heard a lot of peoples stories, and i feel like i have a pretty good plan in place for this. so, im going to leave the site for a while because im sure it will trigger me back into b/p and restricting. this forum has really helped me a lot and im gonna miss you guys so much! but i know its time to say goodbye for now and give this my all- wish me luck!

I wish you loads of luck. I know you can do this, if u want. Probably trying to get help is the first step already and it's great that u know that you are not alone in this. Don't be afraid to ask for help and try not to be too much disappointed when people (esp family) try to understand and sometimes don't. They only want your best. I wish you all the best and good luck on your journey.

this is the first step... congrats on a big decision & the courage to make it come true. You are brave and strong and capable. You will make recovery a happening in your life. You should print out what you wrote at the start of this thread and keep it to remind yourself of your committment. When it gets tough, pull out what you had written and read it back to yourself.
