I would really appreciate it if somebody could tell me what foods, if eaten before you go drinking, help you get less drunk less quickly?

I ask because before I had an ed, it would take at least 5 beers to get me tipsy, and 10 to get me drunk. But now, it seems if its two drinks and then im piss drunk on the floor. Im pretty sure it has to do with my eating/lack of eating. Last time i got drunk, i hadnt eaten all day, and i had about 5 drinks in an hour and couldnt even stand, it was horrible.

So i have a party to go to tonight, and while i plan on getting drunk, i was hoping i wouldnt get drunk within the first few drinks i had or the first half hour im there. PLEASE somebody tell me anything that might help me get less drunk less fast, other than drink less/drink slower??

why not just go to the party and not drink, or if you do, just hold one drink and sip it slowly? I've been told eating bread helps soak it up and not digest as fast into your blood stream, but I wouldn't reccomend eating it just to make sure you don't get drunk.

Gosh, I've never been out drinking before I had an ED. That said, I'm only 18 but have been drinking since I was twelve. Now that I drink appropriately (i.e. not just out to get drunk) I find I have the same problem, and usually end up puking from being so drunk.
If you eat heavy carbs (i.e. bread or pasta) an hour before you have your first drink/shot you should be alright temporarily. As well, try eating at least a half a slice of bread before each drink or shot for the first three drinks. That's what I do, in order to not get embarrassingly/outrageously drunk.

Apparently drinking a glass of milk before you go out coats the lining of your stomach, slowing down the rate at which you're absorbing the alcohol and preventing you from getting so drunk, so quickly. Only downside is that it only works with full fat milk, yuck!

I rarely drink to be honest so this isn't usually an issue for me but I can see how it could be a right pain if you just want to go out and try to relax and get away.

Don't you get hangovers when you don't eat before you drink? Ughhh I hate it because I have to eat A LOT of food before a night of drinking or I'm dead in bed the next day. But apparently carbs and just really filling things are good to eat before drinking. It's probably your body fat too, though- they're not called lightweights for nothing lol...
