I'm not sure about this but I'm really wondering if some things here are related to ED ..
I have dry, sensitive, clogged up skin now and my nails now are full of "potholes" growing from the bed... my hair is brittle and damaged from the roots, but beautiful at the ends (I have very long hair, the ends could be from before ED)...I have dandruff and wounds take pretty long to heal... my body/face is getting hairier... my gums are redder, my limbs get numb easily now...
Anybody had these same changes? Or am I just scaring myself?

yeah that happens to me but it goes away quicker than you'd think if you take vitamins. take iron for your circulation (i.e numbness), calcium for aching bones, multivitamin for your skin, and codliver oil for your nails and hair. you have to take them after eating and preferably not all at once cos you might throw them right back up. but if you don't take them with food they won't be absorbed. trust me, I swear by this :)

Your lips are red? That's probably just natural because it isn't a side effect of having an ED haha(:
Did you mean gums?

thanks for the information -- I often just swallow my vitamins on nothing so maybe that's the reason ... I'm also b/p so I always feel really, really stupid when I purge out my vitamins along with the awful stuff and they make a clinking sound when they contact with the bowl.
another thing is that i also purge with laxes ... are all my vitamins not being absorbed :( ... my pee (sorry!! TMI alert) is like the colour of tea even when i drink a lot of water.

k yeah that's definately what's happening. I think maybe use more of your day's calories in one meal and take them like 10 minutes after then it should work. I think it's because if you don't eat them with food, you're body's more focused on the food itself so they just get passed through. good luck anyway, hope you start feeling better :)

Dizzy all the time. I felt like I was going to collapse during class today (which was cured when I stuffed my face, haha)
Fine hair growth, on my stomach, especially..? My nails have this weird discolouration..
like manymays mentioned, I've been noticing dandruff in my hair. This partially genetic for me, but its alot more of a problem than usual.
I have alot of blackheads on my chin, ONLY my chin.. does this happen to anyone else?
My wounds are also taking longer to heel. Like two weeks ago, a cut on my arm formed (it's not huge, only about .75 of an inch long but it's pretty deep into the skin) and it's still scabbing. I don't know if it's of any relation to an ED or if it was just too deep in.
I haven't noticed alot of hair loss, but I have really thick hair, does this make hair loss LESS of a problem for me?

agh I keep adding. Sorry if this is annoying.
This is going to sound really weird and possibly TMI, but:
Does anyone else experience pain in the rear-area? Whenever I sit on something that isn't super-cushioned, like an office chair or the chairs at my school, the bones in that area ache so badly, and the pain won't go away for at least an hour once I'm standing.
Is this common? Do I have calcium-issues?

well with the hair on your body and hair falling out they're key signs of malnutrition and will get worse the more you restrict. I hate to say it but if you want them to stop you'll have to eat more, at this point vitamins won't help, sorry :(
with the pain in your behind, I've definately heard of that, it could be linked to osteoperosis, but is also simply that your muscles aren't thick enough to shield between your skin and your bones. does it still hurt even if you sit on a cushion?

Well I guess it depends on how 'fluffy' the cushion is and how hard the surface beneath it is. For example, if I'm just sitting on my bed for a while, that can start to hurt, probably because of the springs beneath the mattress or something. If I was sitting on a pillow or something on top of the mattress, I would be fine.
I guess time is a factor, too. A few minutes doesn't bother me, but anything longer than 20-ish minutes does.

I guess one way to deal with it besides carrying a cushion everywhere with you (!!) is do butt workouts and build up the muscles
well when im going through "my phases" i faint often, get dizzy ALOT!, get cold all the time, sore bones, little hairs all over my body, spots, irregular periods, really slow metabolism and when i started eating normally again i got FAT!!
