Fear of heat.:)
Fear of (lit/on) heaters, matches, candles, fireplaces, fire, sweating (which explains why I can't exercise for a long time). When tea freaks you out and you want to move to Antarctica.
Is anyone else as weird as me?

Me.
My diabetes made it hard to cool down when I was at higher weights and anything above 72 degrees would make me sweat like a pig until I was so dehydrated that my muscles would just start shutting down and cramping. One time every muscle in my chest cramped simultaneously and crushed my lungs. I couldn't breath. It scared the sh#t out of me and I think I prayed a bit in my head.
Ever since then I keep things cold. It's about 62 in my apt right now and I'm shivering but I won't close my window. Of course now that I don't weigh as much, I can tolerate much more heat than before and I'm starting to get back to normal. But I don't think I'll be completely over it. I don't want to get overheated even one more time because I'm afraid I'll have a heat stroke or get muscle spasms again and suffocate.
I love hot coffee and tea though. Those are liquids and keep me from getting dehydrated so they're ok.

Scary! Were you near a doctor? Are your lungs alright now? My blacking out is not nearly as bad as that.
Glad you're getting better.

Yes I am seeing a doctor regularly to manage my diabetes. My lungs are ok too, the darn things reinflate as soon as the pressure is taken off of them. Resilient things, those.
