So in my photography there's a guy who is the only person I've really told about my arm on purpose (for those of you who don't know, I had a bad day, and cut the word love into my arm)

Today during photography, he noticed a small scratch on my arm (self inflicted but much better than normal). And he said "You should stop doing that to your arms. It's not good for you" and he said how I'd feel better if I didn't do it. He didn't say what but we both knew what he was saying. It made me really feel loved (even though he doesn't love me, but you get my point) it made me feel like someone actually cared for me besides parents and such.

It made me really happy for th erest of the day (oh yeah..he's also a guy i kinda like so yeah)

what are the small things that have made your day or made you feel especially loved?

I saw a little green hummingbird today. It was such a tiny fragile thing, and it fought so hard to claim the little flowers and dart from one to the next. I just stood and watched it for about 10 minutes. I really wanted to try to catch it and hold it but I knew that would give it a heart attack.

I love hummingbirds. They're really cool and fragile looking. In the summer there's a lot around my house. :)

I wouldn't mind having the metabolism of one! It's been surreal, but since becoming ana, I find that my entire view of the world has become somewhat skewed- the first thing I think of when someone mentions a particular food is the calories within it (ack, OCD much); or if someone says "Cheetah'' I start feeling rotten about having thought my run earlier that morning was a winner.

Back on topic- I love the colours of hummingbirds. Sometimes, the malestrom within makes me feel so washed out and pale that it's a treat to my eyes to drown in a riotous blaze of vibrancy. Other times, the psychadelic mix just looks literally demonic and overwhelming.
