Shower everyday.

So I shower and wash my hair everyday,
people say you should shower everyday but only wash your hair 3 or 4 times a week? like, wtf?
Am I meant to just get in the shower but not wash my hair? Lol

I shower everyday, but don't always wash my hair. My hair dresser once told me that you don't have to wash your hair with shampoo all that often, and doing so everyday will actually dry out/ruin your hair. She said that using conditioner everyday is good for your hair though, it gets rid of dirt and makes your hair nice and soft.

Lol. I've heard this, too. It's really hard for me, though because my hair will get really oily and itchy if I don't wash it every day. I guess it just depends on the person.

i wash my hair whenever i shower. i think washing hair depends on the individual, if you have dry hair then dont wash as often. if you have oily hair then wash more frequently. although over washing can lead to stripping of the oil and making your hair oilier. so complicated.

Probably depends on how much you sweat on your scalp. It is definitely different for each person, even different for the same person in different stages of your life. Do what feels right for you, don't worry about what others say.

How often you should wash your hair depends on hair type (thickness, texture, oily/dry)
Washing daily isnt necessary for anyone unless you have very oily hair.
People with dry haur should avoid overwashing.
Big curls also tend to need less washing.

I have really dark hair (like almost black dark) but I recently had my hair super blonde (I called it Barbie blonde :) ) and it was soooo damaged. My bff is a hairstylist and he was ALWAYS trying to get me not to wash my hair every day. Its difficult for me bc I feel like its dirty, but I wash my hair every other day. Day 1 I either straighten it or scrunch it and then day 2 your hair will go up more easily (super clean hair is more slippery) so I tend to wear it up... or french braid the front section (a la Lauren Conrad, Jennifer Aniston, like all of young Hollywood)

It is difficult not to wash it everyday but my hair actually looks better, less dry now than it used to be!

I wash my hair and condition and shampoo its almost everyday aha that must be bad :p
