Hi guys

Do any of you eat eggs?...if so are hard boiled or scrambled eggs ok for continuing weight loss?

I have been eating only fruit in the day and Tuna in the evenings but Im getting kind of fed up with that everyday.

Im trying to cut out the carbs as cereals and beans on toast werent working anymore.

Any ideas? If eggs are bad, what else can i try?

An egg white is just about 20 calories, 90% from protein.

Eating the yolk too provides 55 more calories, 75% of that being from fat and 20% from protein.

So an entire egg is 75 calories, but just the whites will be fewer calories with practically no fat or carbs.

Personally, I like to have a small piece (like 60 calories worth) of tofu, which is 50% protein.

I use either a cup of liquid egg whites (120 calories) or 6 egg whites (100 calories). I usually throw out the yolks, but sometimes I'll have something like 3 egg whites and 1 whole egg.

I sprinkle a little "popcorn cheese" (powdered cheese I found in the popcorn section of the grocery store) over them. It doesn't take much to give you the flavor without all the calories real cheese would have.

i started eating eggs yesterday! i realise that fruit is carbohydrate but also read somewhere that to beat a weight plateau you need to vary what you're eating so decided i would have a bit more protein and less fruit so it might work for you too.

to be honest i eat the yolk, i know it is more calories but i cant really throw it away as i live with my parents and they are a bit suspicious! i am only going to have one a day, yesterday i had boiled today i had scrambled with a bit of smoked salmon with it(just the egg, i didn't add milk etc)
so let me know if you think of any other ways to do them!
take care hun
