Okay so basically I just finished downloading it and her program looks very tiring yet good! I just wanted to know some reviews from you guys.
Have any of you'll tried it out?? Apparently you can lose up to 20/30 pounds in 30 days..so wanted to know how much of that is true cos in one 20 minute workout we burn up to 140-180 calories so isnt that a bit less?
Anyways how do you'll think it is?? :

I've never heard of it. I used to work out as much as 3 hours a day and I only lost a few pounds. My only real success with weight loss was from fasting. But I still do one hour of moderate exercise 6 days a week and lift weights to try not to lose much muscle.

Thanks for the reply!!
I was coming to think my thread is absolutly useless :p
I read about Jillian Micheals in this forum only, so I thought I would get more response.
Anywayys, do you exercise on your fasting days too? Cos I can't!
And is only fasting okay for weightloss cos if it is, that would be sucha relief!

Hey I have the 30 Day Shred, I was only able to do about 6 or 7 days but then I got sick and was nauseous and bedridden for a while. I hate to admit it but I've been too lazy to start back up since then!
While I was "shredding," I was measuring my weight more with visible inches than pounds, and I definitely got tighter and even a little slimmer in those few days. And my endurance went WAY up... In four days, was able to climb three long flights of stairs in my school, (which cause most people to get pretty out of breath) without missing a beat or a change in my breathing rate.
I was not dieting or restricting calories at the time, which probably contributed to why I wasn't losing much.

Well, first of all, what I consider fasting is eating 500 to 1000 calories in a day. So maybe I should have said restricting. And yes, I exercise and restrict at the same time. I'm not able to do heavy exercise; I just walk for an hour a day, usually two separate 30 minute sessions: one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Fasting always makes the scales go down. If you don't eat, your body has to burn itself up to stay alive. It's simple physics. But I don't want to discourage you from doing exercise, you just don't need a lot unless you want to really get in awesome shape, but then you would need to eat more and it's hard to balance high-impact exercise with exactly the right calories.

I started doing this today.. it's pretty intense but it seems like it would be effective. I've read some pretty rave reviews about it.
Even though you wouldn't burn a huge amount of calories in the actual workout, it'd boost your metabolism and help stimulate weight loss, so I guess maybe it helps you lose weight that way?
I'm going to keep doing it, hopefully I stick to it and I'll write back here again with results..

I'm going to start it soon since I have that obsession with Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels(I made one of the threads about her lol). I hope it works. She's crazy fit and looks great so hopefully I will see some results.
I love how her website ad pops up right on the side of your posts! :P

The 30 day shred always kicks my butt, but in a great way. I always finish it feeling really accomplished and I find it to be if not a great workout (which it is), it always boosts my energy. It's done wonders on my stamina and endurance too.

Oh my god, that woman is a NAZI! I did it for a while, and it definitely did get easier as I went along. I never made it past the second DVD though, because I was forced into a treatment center.
But the first time I did it, it well and truly kicked my butt. I loved it.
I need to start again!
If you need a Shred partner, I'd love to work something out with you :D
Good luck!!
