I just got back from the tattoo shop and made my appointment for my first tattoo (March 24th here I come!).

So, I was wondering who else has tattoos, where are they, and where was your first one?

oh good luck, honestly they dont hurt as bad as people make out!
my first one was when i was 17 and its on my lower back. its flowers. got it on the 26th feb 2009, it took approx 2 hours.
when i go on my other laptop i'll sort pics out :)
that one was fine, i was talking away to my friend and everything, on the phone and on msn lol.
second one was on 15th october 2009, a tiny little heart on my lower hip. well, tbh its on my crotch. but lower hip sounds more feminine!
that one didnt hurt either. took about 5 mins tops.
third one was on 16th october 2009, after the heart i had the bug and wanted another...less than 24 hours later. its two heart outlines intertwined on my left foot with lots of curvy swirly lines. by far my fave tattoo. that one however hurt like hell. its because of all the nerves there. the more tickly the place the more painful they say. but its nothing i wouldnt sit through again and i didnt cry, it only took 15 mins or so.

I have a self done star on my shoulder,
I wouldnt recommend self doing tats to anyone.
I did it for a very personal reason but I am going to get it removed in the next couple months.

I have one tattoo i got back in the summer. its a melting peace sign on my wrist thats green, yellow and red.
definitely didnt hurt one bit.
and i am THEE biggest bitch when it comes to pain lmao

I want one soo bad but im worried about the pain too! I want a little plumeria maybe the size of a quarter. maybe i'll get up the courage one day and just actually do it

Have a red-winged blackbird on my right shoulder blade, took a few hours (dozed off), the pain is like if someone pressed a fingernail into you and dragged it, it's very sharp. But I have good news; you get use to it. After a half hour you'll be chatting about other stuff than whats going on :p

lol that's what i always say, i would never regret any tattoo i got. you get it so you can look back at in the future and think "oh yeah! i remember when i liked that" or something like that lol. to bring back memories!

I can't wait till I can get my tattoos done
I already have them planned out, I really want to get a sleeve done but I'm gonna wait till I've finished Uni at least,just to be sure

and on my side,below my ribcage I want a blue/white rose and a stem but instead of the stem being a normal one,I want it to look like it's barbed wire and I want to incorpate the words beauty from pain somewhere in there
and then I want some like a curvy line of buterflies sort of like an S shape
near where my heart is with Faith written in Japanese in rememberance of my little sister who died when she was 10 months old and around her birthday and the day she passed we always see loads and loads of butterflies

I also want some lyrics from my signiture put on me somwhere maybe

also I want this quote on my right wrist facing me so I can read it
