Would it hurt to try?
Well, yes I guess it could hurt to try, but it will hurt to not try too. I guess I should ask: would it hurt any less to try? The answer is: no.
Might as well go for every opportunity until you find someone.

Wow I'm having the same sorta problem. I'm in 12th grade too. And the only problem is, he has a girlfriend at the moment :(. I don't know how serious it is, but I suppose I can just wait till he becomes single. lol

Go for it,
Like Jacklinger said, it won't hurt to try,
and even if he doesn't feel the same way -at least you'll know.
Which is surely better than not knowing?
And why would different universities have to put an end to your relationship,
..if its meant to be it'll work,
Good luck with whatever you decide to do, hope it works out! :)

Yeah so I have a crush on this guy. I am in grade 12 and next year we are going to different universities. Is it even worth it to try to get him to go out with me? (If he likes me back- there's a possibility)
He really lights up my day and it's like all of my (very many and very omnipresent) problems just vanish when we're talking. Like, wow.
It would break my heart if it turns out he doesn't like me, but I also know it'll probably break my heart when we have to split up for university...
what to do???!!??
aint nothin to it but to do it lol it's gonna happen again when you go to college or switch jobs when you're older. Do it and if he doesn't like you, you can cover his car in eggs when you graduate =) jk...sorta
