Fear of being kidnapped.

Hi. I'm really scared someone is going to kidnap me and force me to live a very miserable life. For the past two years I feel like a clock is ticking and that tomorrow I'm going to die or be kidnapped. I feel terrorized and this has taken a toll on my physical health as well as mental. I have tried to cut out the people from my life that take pleasure in watching me suffer but I feel as though they just won't let me go.

I wish I had more happier people in my life. I have one best friend but she's in another city, there's a guy I like but he's in another city as well. I'm in school full time so I can't work. Also I suffered really bad grades last year due to this fear, however it's very real and I think it could really happen.

What I think is happening is that the people who scared me the first time are making it so that I flunk out of school and become a miserable person with no career so I'll have to keep them in my life and they want to call me a stupid person. My IQ is above average, I'm pretty I have no idea why some people choose to mess with me and say the meanest things.

The fear of being kidnapped? That's interesting. Buy a cell phone and keep it with you at all times. Owning a gun might help too. Just don't shoot people unless they're actually trying to kidnap you.

Thanks for reading my fear. I have a cell phone and I've kept one since I was terrorized two years ago. I live in Canada so only the police can have guns but I bought some mace for protection. I haven't used it but it seems pretty easy to use. I'm scared someone might take it out of my hands.

I really wish I could own a gun. I used to be against them, but I would feel so safe that no one would kidnap me. However, I'm happy the law only lets the police have guns since I feel safe no one else has one.

I'm around 115 lbs so I'm pretty easy to pick up and put in a car and I'm always afraid that if I'm walking around someone might put me in a car and drive away with me. Then they will try to change my face and force me to eat food so I look like a different person. Then someone else (a lesser person) will take my face and live my life in my place.

Seriously though, even bad people behave logically and there's no profit or gain in trying to replace a human with themselves. That would take an impossible amount of plastic surgery, pre-planning, the aid of dozens of accomplises, who would all need to keep quiet forever, and gobs of money.

Keep your mace and phone handy, and remember that you should scream and fight as hard as you can if someone does try to grab you. You'd be suprised at how effective that can be. Kidnappers can get nervous and a loud of enough shriek can catch them off guard and make them think twice about going through with whatever they're trying to do.

Remember to stay close to crowds of people and don't go off by yourself alot, unless you live in a little town, where that would be hard to do. But kidnappings dont happen much in small towns. And your best defense might just be running. Running is great exersize and if you spend 30 min a day jogging it will make you faster than 90% of all other people on the planet.

And I'm sorry you got terrorized. That sounds awful. If you'd like to talk about that some, just send me a PM, but I understand if you don't want to. I hope you can feel better eventually.

Hey Diamond.

You say your IQ is above average, so I'm hoping you or others can take this as an interesting observation.

What if someone were to take you away from your happy life, keeping you locked in a room with only the tiniest amount of food to keep you alive, cursing your relationships, cut you every day just a little bit, and constantly tell you that you're too fat and not good enough until you look a certain way or weigh a certain amount?

Thanks Jacklinger, it really helps to hear no one can replace me. I keep my cell phone with me and try to stay alert. Yes, I have been doing that lately trying to stay with a crowd. That's true, no one could kidnap me if I'm around people just when I'm alone. Yes, it was really awful I couldn't believe it happened to me.

Oooh! I do fast walking, but yes I can run around the park in the summer. It's winter now. I don't really use treadmills for running because I might fall off.

averageguy, what do you mean by that? That sounds horrible. Are you trying to scare me? Did this happen to someone you know? I'm scared of being taken away from my life. Are the lights turned on or off? I'm scared of something similar happening to me... but forever. :(

I would be miserable and sad. Cut physically? Or emotionally? I would be prefer a pleasant death to being tortured. I am against torture, I don't like pain.

Why would they curse my relationships?
